I booked 2 movers to help with loading only services for my Uhaul out of my apartment and D and Pedro were amazing! They arrived early for our appointment, were extremely courteous, and had everything completed within exactly the 2 hour quoted time frame. My family member is immunocompromised and both movers wore masks immediately and throughout the move which was greatly appreciated. They helped us move into a new apartment today. A few days before the move I had to add an additional stop for pickup (which was an hour away) and Michele helped plan the entire process. She was very nice and helpful. The two men that moved our stuff were very friendly and efficient (Mark and Jeremy I believe). Very honest and straightforward about logistics and price. We felt very taken care of from the beginning. Then, on moving day, we couldn't have asked for a better crew. Krown, Otis, and Joe were not only knowledgeable and careful with our belongings, but they were quick and trustworthy. I have known Sarah Jones for 30+ years. I was horrified to not see my review. You have moved me 6 times. I always tipped the guys, drinks. And one time my check didn't go thru and I contacted her and had her run my Credit Card. I would have rather paid the 35.00$ to my bank than let Sarah not get paid. Based on several reviews from Angie's list, we picked Woody and Sons -- we needed a company that could pick up special custom furniture and artwork; store the items overnight and deliver the next day to a condo that has very restricted move-in/out times -- We were impressed from the start with the professional attitude and responsiveness of our initial point of contact. Via the internet, and a couple of phone calls were were able to agree on the scope, cost and schedule for the job. The delivery destination required insurance forms and a copy of the license -- all of which Woody and Sons provided within 24 hours of the request. While we had some traditional items being moved (desks, chairs) we also had a 450 pound two-piece cypress table along with stainless steel table bases, and 14 paintings and other artwork. On top of it all, it rained the morning of the pickup. Although the pickup time was alittle delayed -- The movers called from the road to let us know of the delay. When Mike and Chris showed up they were extremely professional, careful and respectful of our items and our home. Mike and Chris were really terrific -- we truly appreciated the way they moved the pieces with care and attention to detail. We left to meet them at the delivery destination (450 miles away) with confidence. As they promised, Woody and Sons stored our items overnight and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time the following day. -- The destination was a condo with extremely restricted moving times so it was imperative that the movers start and finish on time -- Mike and Chris were equally careful of our items at the arrival destination. These guys more than met my expectations! Service was prompt and the job was done in about 4 hours. We only wanted them to move the larger items in our house. They wrapped each item in moving blankets and then secured the blankets with plastic wrap. These items were ready to travel across the country but we only moved 20 minutes away. I have used Woody and Sons twice, the first time when we moved from our Palm Harbor home and the second when we moved from our Clearwater condo. I do have to say that the crew and management at Woody's are fabulous. The management makes sure your crew arrives on time and has the necessary materials to make your move smooth and efficient. The crew works hard to package and transport your valuables with care like only you would provide. All-in-all, you'll find Woody and Sons your best choice when moving from place to place. Woody and sons did a good job with my small move. They didn't break, mangle or lose anything, unlike another mover I used years ago. You've got to be careful, especially with interstate movers, who sometimes impound your stuff. I'd use Woody's again. See more See less
